I love all the free medicine that we get from couponing. This time of year we get so much allergy medicine for free. The problem is storing it all. I used to just put it in a shelf on the closet and then when I needed some I had a tough time finding it. Sometimes bottles would be knocked over and spill. I finally found a solution for cheap.
I bought these small bins at the Dollar Tree for $1. I bought 3 for our family. We have a kids medicine container, a adult medicine container and a miscellaneous container that we store cough drops, breathe right strips and other things the whole family uses.
They stack right on top of each other, plus if a bottle spills it is contained to the bin and doesn’t spill out all over the shelf.
Three works well for us but if you have kids of varying ages you may want an infant and a child bin. The best part of the bins is that finding stuff is so much easier now. When its the middle of the night and someone doesn’t feel good I am so glad I have them all sorted out.
How do you store your medicine? I would love to hear any clever stockpiling tips you have.
