My Bathroom Faucet Head had gotten really caked with mineral build up. I usually unscrew them and let them soak in a little vinegar. Unfortunately the one in my powder room was so bad that I couldn’t get it off. I was afraid I would damage it taking it off, so I decided to soak it in vinegar while it was still on.
I started by taking the lid to a hairspray bottle cap, a hair band and some tape. I taped the hair band on to the cap. I then could use the band to keep the cap on the faucet.
I filled the cap up with vinegar and then attached it to the faucet head. I let it sit with the vinegar for about 30 minutes.
I took it off and everything that was left just wiped right off. My faucet runs much better and looks better. It was so easy I think I will clean all my faucets like this from now on.
